I'm happy to announce that Icom will be at our convention displaying some of their latest transceivers. Be sure to drop by their booth to check out what they have to offer!

Note: We recently heard that the rooms at the Mirabeau for the convention are filling up fast. If you have not made your reservation, we would encourage you to do so soon.

Thanks goes to HRO for donating 5 ARRL Operating Manuals. We certainly appreciate your support!

We recently received a registration from N5ET in Spring, Texas which makes Bob one our most distant stateside registrants so far. Welcome Bob and we hope you enjoy the convention!

Welcome friends from the North!! It came to this webmasters attention sometime ago that we are getting quite a few registrations from BC and Alberta. We just want to extend a special thanks to those in Canada who will be attending our convention and look forward to meeting you this summer.

Bob Rosie announced at our last SDXA meeting that he was donating one of the High Sierra Coax Crimping Kits for a door prize. I'm not sure if you have seen these before, but they are very nice kits and I've been wanting to buy one myself. Maybe I'll get lucky and win it at the convention :)

I'm happy to keep busy as a webmaster when I get to add new donations to the list :) That means we will have quite a few goodies to give away this summer for those who attend! The latest donations come from The Daily DX with 2 one year subscriptions and the other from Hi-Q Amateur Radio Products. Also Tigertronics will be donating a Signalink USB Interface. Thanks guys!

It's official!! We just received a confirmation letter from the ARRL that we are an approved Operating Specialty Convention. We appreciate the support from the league and we look forward to seeing some of their representitives at the convention!

I'm happy to announce that we have the Online Registration up and running for the convention. Payment is via PayPal and you can use your current PayPal account if you have one, or you can still pay with a credit card through PayPal if you wish. We have the site on a secure SSL server to help protect your privacy.

One of the new startup clubs in the area that I'm sure we will hearing more of in the upcoming months is the Idaho DX Association. Although they are just starting out, they have generously offered a new Hustler 5BTV as a raffle prize. Thanks guys! :)

It's really getting to be a challenge keeping up with all the door prize arrivals :) As you can see, we have a couple of new ones on the list. ARRL HQ with subscriptions to NCJ and QEX plus Alpha Amplifier Hats, T-Shirts, and Coffee Mugs.

More door prizes, YAY!! Writelog Contesting Software, LLC has graciously offered a copy of writelog as a door prize.

I'm happy to announce that Yaesu has stepped forward with our first raffle prize, the FT-950.
Dennis will be here from Yaesu showing their latest in Amateur equipment. It will be nice to see the FT-3000 in person, and I still have my sights on a new FT-5000 :)

The honor of being the first couple to register for the convention goes to Steve and Peggy Sala of Nine Mile Falls. Thanks so much for your support! We have now put up the registration page and we will update the table as new registrations come in.

We have a couple of new vendors offering door prizes. W4MPY has donated 250 Eyeball QSO cards. Rose's Covers and Cases is offering either a radio dust cover or Elecraft carrying case.
The SDXA appreciates the generosity of so many vendor's that are helping us with our convention!
